These Type N wireless cards worked perfectly right out of the box. I had a little trouble with typos in my security "key" setups, but as soon as I got everything right, the cards worked, and I am using them daily with very high speed performance on the internet. They are also very sensative, and picked up several Wi-Fis in the neighborhood.
My access point is a Motorola wireless cable modem.
They also replace my old wired router, and can transfer data between computers just like the LAN used to do. These cards are a good value for the money, and I don't see how spending more could get you more.
The D-Link DWA-525 Wireless-N 150 Desktop PCI Adapter was a wonderful purchase. I have had no problems with it except for its compatibility with Ubuntu (but I think that's my fault). The signal is at a fair level even across the house where my computer resides. If you are in search of a decent wireless card that is not too expensive this is the one to go with.
