I dont know how well the $10 dollar one works but I bought this one at staples for about 26 bucks and it didnt take long to install the drivers and works perfectly. Only thing I was puzzled by is they send you a micro cd (like a gamecube disk) instead of a real CD size disk. So just make sure your optical drive has that little part in there so you can have it fit right on and not have to center it.
Otherwise perfect not a single problem.

Bought at staples hoping to solve a major connection issue with an older laptop that was having problems connecting to a new network after installing Windows 7. This has a plug and play feature that allows you to bypass puting in network passwords or keys. Install was amazingly fast and easy. Best $25 I've spent in a long time.
